Jack and Mommy chatting and laughing. Our little guy loves to talk (he really just makes vowels sounds and imitates our vocal inflections and facial expressions). Daddy and I play along, urging him on in his story telling by saying "Really? Then what happened?" "Oh! That must have been fun!" etc...
G'ma and G'pa Watson gave him this Tummy Time surfboard- its a very cushy mat with a pillow to prop up his torso. Jack is a bit behind in his neck strength and head control because his head is pretty big, so we try to have him work on those muscles during playtime in many different ways.
Jack in his favorite chair! What would we do without this chair?!?! Jack likes to have time to himself, he gets frustrated if you try to hold him all of the time so this chair has been perfect for him. I actually was a bit jealous of the chair for a while, for some reason, Jack LOVED the polka dots on the attached arch- he would make flirty eyes at the dots and then coo at them. I would try to get in on the cooing, but he would just scowl at me like the polka dots understood him better. I am glad he is now speaking to me!

Jack loves book time. He is fascinated with the pictures and watches your hand motion while you turn the pages. He sits through 4-5 books at a time. Here, his cousin Ashley is reading his favorite book: "What's Wrong Little Pookie?" He actually looks concerned for little Pookie in this pic. He also loves the books "Goodnight Moon" and "Barnyard Dance."

Here is a comparison of 10 year old Ashley and 3 month old Jack- he is nearly half her size in length! They had a hilarious moment where they both were looking up at me for the pic, then they both slowly turned their heads and looked at each other nose to nose then looked up at me again! It looked choreographed... very creepy/hilarious!
