How to Make it through the first Trimester....

I have come to the conclusion that this baby is going to be a redneck. That's right, he/she's going to pop out with a mullet wearing a nascar shirt.

Here is the support of my theory:

I am craving the most white-trash foods:

• Top Ramen
• Campbell's Tomato Soup
• Bologna Sandwich on white bread
• Kraft Mac n' Cheese
• Burger King Whopper Junior
• Last, I am dying for a beer, a really cheap beer. (of course I am not going to drink it)

What else? We had a great week with G'pa Jim who visited from California. Jack really enjoyed spending time with him, playing peek-a-boo and making funny noises at each other.

Halloween is approaching and we had our heart set on Jack wearing a Gnome costume but alas! It was too small for him, although we were able to get some quick pics of him.

We did find a new costume that he could not possibly outgrow in a month- yoda! He loves this robed costume and the hat too. Here are some more pics.

Our little guy's vocabulary is really stretching now and I find it remarkable that he understands that a "door" is a door no matter the color or size, if its in a book or in real life.

Cousin Ashley was singing the Alphabet Song, Jack imitated the first phrase melodically right on spot, his words turned out to be "onion, onion, onion-o, onion, onion, onion-o" Too funny, a baby after Grandpa Doyle's heart.
