Our sweet dog Bear is recovering from surgery on his knee. He tore his ACL, which means his knee bones have been loosely rubbing against each other causing him to limp for the past week.He is now drugged up and was able to eat a bit of food when we brought him home today- he is such a tough little guy, hobbling around without any whining or barking. The doc says it will be 2 weeks 'til the bandages come off then 3 months 'til complete recovery.
Meanwhile, Stephen will be carrying him up and down the many steps in our tri-level home until he has fully healed.
