Sooooooooooo BIG!

Kudos to sister Jennifer who suggested I try out the high chair. He is a big boy after all and he is sitting up (with support) pretty well. He only lasts about 5 minutes in this so far, but it is nice to have a safe place to put him in the kitchen.

Jack is now all about his feet! He grabs his feet and tries to bring them to his mouth. My favorite is his Irish step-dancing routine where he is laying on his dressing table, kicking his legs super fast then stops and waits for me to cheer him on, then off he goes again. Watch out when you are holding him though, if you lay him on your lap he might just crack one of your ribs with his forceful dancing!

The over-stimulating exersaucer! Our little guy is more of a quiet observer of this apparatus. Really, this is meant for babies 4 months and older, but we figured we would give it a try, come to find out that he needs the middle height notch from the get go! That's our big boy!

As some of you may know, the Watson family is all about nicknames. I started calling him "bug" which has stuck for the longest so far. Sometimes I call him "Punkin" or "Mr. Cheeks" and I have a little song that goes with it. The Watson fam first wanted to call him J.D., but it hasn't happened yet, later the cousins said "Bean!" for Jack and the Beanstalk. We will see!

Jack sleeping on daddy- such a sound sleeper. PS- those are 12 month pajamas!

Yep, Jack pretty much overtakes his G'ma Watson. Luckily he is not too squirmy and he LOVES books! Read more books Gamma!

Darcy says, "Our little Mozart."
Stephen says, "Our little Herbie Hancock."
