First Walking Shoes

Jack really digs these rice crackers called Mum-Mum's. He loves it when they snap off into his mouth...I guess its like taking a real bite like mom and dad. He can't quite bite yet since he is still working on pushing 6 teeth through (4 on the top and 2 on the bottom)

Here is a pic of Jack's new walking shoes.
We decided it was about time to get him these since he took his first step yesterday!
It was totally by mistake of course, he just wanted to get to me and didn't think about trying to hold on to anything and ta-da, he did it without even losing his balance!
Did I get video of it?...nope.

I think these shoes will be perfect because they are velcro adjustable, which works for his "loaf of bread" feet as Auntie Jenny calls them.

The video below shows Jack just up from a nap.
Nothing amazing...I just love his rosy cheeks and his calm countenance when he wakes up.

  1. Aha! I think I've at last figured out how to post a comment- that shouldn't have been too hard. It's been too long since I've indulged in looking at all the Jack photos! What a treat! I love the videos- the one where he's waking up is so sweet, probably a moment you have several times a day, but it was so sweet for me to see. I also love the "one finger!" video, especially at the end where you say, "oh, no..." after he flips it over. What a beautiful boy is Jackie-D. Hope his bipolar days are going okay, and thanks SO much Darcy Anne for all the great photos and posts! Love, Nay
