This totally blew my mind- did he actually link these two routines together (NWGC=Daddy is here to drive me home)
I leaned Jack against a sturdy toy to practice standing (he is now very well balanced), came back a bit later and and he had cruised to an adjacent coffee table and was trying to flip through his baby book. Here we go...he is getting mobile...the fun begins.
Have you ever known a baby to ASK to go to bed? Well ours does! Jack says "nigh-nigh" in a sad down-ward vocal inflection.
Jack is now wearing 24 month clothes...he is only 9 months old.
He has squealing conversations with other babies in the grocery store.
Jack loves to give kisses on the cheek. They are open-mouthed and full of drool and sometimes come with a hair grab and/or a 2-tooth bite!
We now know when he is really teething, he turns into "bi-polar" baby. Totally joyful/elated/giggling then SWITCH! right to whiny/grumpy/sad/tears. Our little punkin is going through this right now- so far, Stephen can feel one upper tooth coming through the gums, but we may have 3-4 top teeth coming in all at once.
We have put up the baby gate right at the edge of the stairs. Jack loves standing at the baby gate and shaking it, making a metal clanking noise. Its pretty cute...at least for now, it may not be in a month or so.... hah!
Jack has plastic dog that is a combo riding toy and a walker. He prefers the walker part of it, I say "Let's walk your dog!" and he looks over at Bear. Too cute.
