Jack's first airplane flight. Aside from puking all over himself right before boarding, everything went smoothly. He enjoyed his new bumble bee swaddle blankie.
I would point to the bees to the beat of this chant I used to teach Kindergarteners:
Bee, bee bumble bee
stung a man upon his knee.
stung a pig upon his snout,
I declare that you are out!
He thought it was fun, and would point to the bees, indicating that he wanted me to do it again.
The boy cousins.
John in a choke-hold?
The girl cousins.
All the cousins plus grandpa Jim.
You can see the top of my head behind Cameron. Jack wasn't to keen on anyone else holding him.
It was very hot in Grover Beach, we learned that Jack sweats from his head.
We went to various parks throughout our visit. 4-year-old energizer bunny John was so gentle and sweet to Jack, always trying to include him in his playing. We especially had fun playing hide-and-seek at Kate and Jerry's house.
Sweet cousin Mary (2 yrs). She was a second mommy to Jack, offering him water and feeding him puffs. She enjoyed the swings, I think I pushed Mary and Jack for at least a few hours if you add up each time we went to the park!
I know, double-take time! This is Jack's cousin Joseph (five and a half mos).
Joseph is the sweetest baby, he just hangs out, observing the older kids and he is sitting up really well- very advanced baby! He has the biggest laugh and widest smile- adorable. I was tricked by his crying a few times, he sounds just like Jack.
A great shot of the Morrissey siblings together- its been 6 years!
Another sweet Joseph pic.
