MORE STUFF TO KNOW:
Our big guy must be going through a growth spurt since he now eats like a lumberjack for every meal (note: he eats 6 meals a day!)
He will eat any fruit or bread you throw in front of him and he is really sucking down the whole milk too. Other favs: hummus and peanut butter....of course the messiest stuff!

We are working with him to stop throwing food on the floor, we found that he will put food he doesn't want onto a plate when we say "All done!" This works about 60% of the time.

As always, he is taunting us with his vocabulary. Just the other day he said "taquito" in a perfect Spanish accent (dental t's and all) and that's it, he has never said that word again.

Jack is loving the playground, he is an avid slider now: climbs up, sits, "scooch"es and slides all by himself.

He discovered spinning today and gave a delighted laugh and showed a cheesy, toothy, wrinkled-nose grin.

He often runs in place when he is really excited.

Jack is fascinated with plants and trees. The other day at the park he found a fallen leaf, pointed at it and then he yelled at it for a while. It sounded like he had a German accent- very strange!

With wonder in his eyes and arms stretched up pointing at the huge tree canopy at G'pas house, he grunts and looks at an adult...yes Jack "BIG trees!"

While daddy waters the plants, Jack chases the hose and gets doused with water. He gasps, laughs and squeals runs in a circle, then comes back for another shower. He must be a hearty boy, that water is too cold for me!

He can't get enough of pictures, always grunting and pointing at the family portraits on the wall- you could spend an hour looking at pictures with him.
