Merry Birth Eve everyone! Stephen and I are lounging in bed, waiting for our alarm to go off at 4:30 am for the big event, so I decided to add my mom's pics to my blog to fill in the missing pieces. Above is a pic of Ash, Jack and me at the "Water, Water Everywhere" NWGC concert in late March. The kids sang beautifully!
I had to include this pic since this is a very typical Jack scene at Gams/Gamps house. Grandpa takes Jack on "secret trails" where they get to adventure in the big yard together. Jack loves to pretend water the plants. If you didn't realize, we have had a ton of rain and dreary weather so there has been no need to water this spring!
Jack enjoying the flowers.
I have been nesting for months now, my poor husband has barely been able to put up with me!
Since we have had Aaron's room relatively ready since early spring, I decided I would finally put my emergency preparedness kit together. The tsunami/earthquake in Japan was a great motivator for me.
Okay, how hilarious are these pics! My sis Jennifer took these snapshots and we just ROARED!!! I intentionally wore this color combo to illicit sympathy from my girls at NWGC- nothing like wearing a big red target on the largest part of your body. How many times have I told them that I will be the largest pregnant woman ever! Yet the 9-13 year old girls still come up to me weekly and say, "Wow- you're big!" Thanks girls...
Aaron, you are entering a very hustle-bustle world. Here are some news events that occurred the weekend before you were born:
4/29: Will and Kate- Royal Wedding
4/30: Obama's roast of Donald Trump! Hilarious!
4/30: The beatification of Pope John Paul II
5/1: Osama bin Laden is dead.
Mommy and Daddy are looking forward to meeting you tomorrow Aaron!
Your big brother is also excited. Here are a few Jack quotes:
"I see Aaron?"
"Aaron come out!"
"Aaron come out and play!"
"Aaron, come out and play with your rubber ducky!"
Clearly, you are much anticipated and loved already Aaron James!
