Mom's Day and beyond

We had a lovely mother's day brunch at G'ma/G'pa Watson's house. Bring on the mimosas, hooray for alcohol!

This is our new reality...twice the butts to wipe, twice the diapers, diaper cream and wipes!

Aaron is so cute when he's mad!

I had a custom cake made for the event: Welcome baby Aaron/Happy 2nd b-day Jack and the top of the cake is honor of the moms. Red roses are G'ma Janet's favorite.

Jack and the girl cousins.
Aaron opening both eyes! We think he has an overactive tear-duct in his right eye because he has tons of eye boogies. So funny because I always bug his daddy about his eye crust- now I've got two to nag.
The boys checking each other out.
A comparison of the brother's heads.
All three of my boys watching Thomas the Tank.
We love the IKEA train set that Jack got for his B-day- it is occupying him for long stretches of time!
Aaron had elevate biliruben levels for the first 2 weeks, (you can see he is a bit yellow in some of these photos) which meant checking in with doctor many times. Luckily, supplementing with formula was enough to get his levels back to normal.

Jack and G'ma picked out these balloons to welcome Aaron.
We are so lucky that Stephen has a month of paternity leave! Stephen also took advantage of the time off and went to a few interviews...lo and behold, he is now moving on to another company called UIevolution which is more of a cutting edge company, dealing with apps and mobile devices. The best thing about it is that it is an 8 minute commute!
I think the biggest adjustment for Jack has been having both parents around at the same time since our regular schedule means we only spend about 30 minutes a day as a family during the work week. He has come up with a clever "Brangelina" type names for us: Moddy and Dammy (combining Mommy & Daddy) I guess he is just saving time, trying to get both of our attention.
