We had a terrific time going on tour with my Amabile choir (girls ages 9-13).
I decided to bring Aaron on the charter bus with me, scary thing is they don't have seat belts so I just carried him in the Bjorn on my lap...I know how 1970s of me!
We visited the State Capitol in Olympia and sang in the gorgeous acoustic of the Rotunda, then went on an informative tour of the building.
Later we met Stephen and Jack at Great Wolf Lodge, an indoor waterpark/hotel/fun kid friendly place.
Here is Jack, showing the ladies a good time by singing part of one of our French Creole songs,Salangadou and generally just being cute.
It was a bit frightening how comfortable he was being the center of attention for 32 preteen girls. Jack: please don't grow up to sing in a boy band or be on the cover of Tiger Beat magazine! Oh-the shame on the Morrissey name! hah!
Jack was super psyched about the water park, until the HUGE bucket o'water dumped right near him. This shot any chance of setting foot in the waterpark so...
we played in the arcade instead!
All-in-all, it was a really fun first vacation for our family of 4!
